Senior Accountant
Job Details
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. As we scale to $100M+ ARR, we need a detail-oriented accounting professional to strengthen our financial operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on accounting role reporting to the Controller. You’ll be responsible for managing the monthly close process, overseeing day-to-day accounts payable operations, and supporting accounts receivable functions. Your work will be critical to maintaining the integrity of our financial records and providing management with reliable monthly financial statements. This is an opportunity to take ownership of core accounting processes in a fast-growing SaaS business, working closely with cross-functional teams while building scalable accounting operations. As the company continues to scale, there’s significant opportunity to grow into broader accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
1.Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis 2.Manage daily AP operations: invoice processing, vendor payments, expense report reviews, and vendor account reconciliations 3.Prepare monthly financial reports and management reporting packages 4.Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for all balance sheet accounts 5.Coordinate annual financial audits, including PBC requests, audit workpaper preparation, and serving as primary point of contact for external auditors 6.Support tax compliance activities, including preparation of documentation for sales tax, VAT/GST, and income tax filings across multiple jurisdictions 7.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
