Developer Support Engineer
Job Details
We are hiring a Developer Support Engineer to help developers successfully integrate and scale in-app subscriptions using our monetization platform. Our platform powers over 40% of newly shipped subscription apps and processes more than $10B in annual purchase volume, supporting everyone from solo developers to global teams like OpenAI. In this role, you will work directly with developers to troubleshoot technical issues, guide integrations, and ensure they can confidently launch and manage subscription-based apps.
As a Developer Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve the developer experience across our platform. You’ll debug complex issues, assist developers in resolving edge cases, and help build internal tools and documentation that improve support efficiency. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to product improvements, speak at global developer conferences, and shape how developers worldwide monetize their apps.
Responsibilities
– Provide daily technical support to developers integrating the SDK into their apps
– Debug complex issues by analyzing logs, stack traces, and application behavior
– Guide developers through onboarding and implementation of subscription features
– Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve developer experience
– Identify common developer issues and improve documentation or support resources
– Build or enhance internal tools, dashboards, and troubleshooting workflows
– Create test environments or sample apps to reproduce and solve technical issues
– Communicate solutions clearly and help developers resolve blockers quickly
– Work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment using tools like Slack, Zoom, Linear, and Notion
– Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity
