A fully remote, globally distributed digital banking organization is building a future centered on economic freedom and wealth protection. This full-time remote role supports global financial operations within a collaborative finance team in a regulated, fast-evolving environment. The company is hiring a mid-level Accountant with 3–5 years of corporate accounting or audit experience and a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA). The role involves owning month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, intercompany accounting, regulatory reporting (including liquidity and capital adequacy returns), tax support, and audit coordination. Strong IFRS knowledge, experience with regulatory frameworks (GFSC/UK), proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel, and clear communication skills are essential for success in this multi-entity, crypto-focused financial environment.

Responsibilities

– Partner with the CFO to formulate, communicate, and drive the company’s financial strategy, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board – Lead the core financial planning processes, including forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-range strategic planning – Design and own the executive-level reporting frameworks to monitor business performance, connecting financial results to strategic KPIs and operational drivers – Lead strategic OPEX management and the annual budgeting cycle, with a focus on optimizing resource allocation to drive growth – Serve as a critical business partner to functional leaders, providing deep financial analysis and data-driven insights that challenge assumptions and unlock growth opportunities – Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and risk assessments – Drive the evolution of financial systems (including Anaplan) to automate reporting, enhance analytical capabilities, and provide self-service insights to stakeholders – Provide input into capital requirement methodologies and other regulatory financial processes – Supervise and mentor a growing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability, commercial curiosity, and excellence
